At the AGYA panel “Navigating the Future” in Aachen, Helmut Reichelt, Program Director at the German Emirati Institute, joined leading voices from science, business, and culture to explore new models of Arab-German cooperation. The event highlighted the power of cross-cultural dialogue to drive innovation and sustainable development.

We are excited to announce that the Decarb Factory project has received financial support from the Federal Ministry of Research and the Ministry of Economy of North Rhine-Westphalia for the next three years. This funding marks a significant milestone in our efforts to drive innovation and sustainability. A special thank you to Minister Mona Neubaur for her participation in this important announcement. We look forward to the continued progress and collaboration in the coming years.

At this event, GEI was honored with the "Best Community Engagement of the Year" award, recognizing initiatives such as the Techathon in collaboration with RWTH Aachen, Internship and Mentoring Programs, and Jusoor International, sponsored by Sandooq Al Watan. This accolade highlights the successful partnerships between the UAE and Germany in education and technology sectors.

Ambassador Ahmed Alattar and Minister President Hendrik Wüst emphasized the significance of UAE-Germany relations in their speeches. The event concluded with the celebration of the UAE’s 53rd National Day.
